Through its Lion Hotel Group division, it owns and manages five award-winning hotels located in Beavercreek, Ohio; Bozeman, Montana; Duluth, Minnesota; and Palm Coast, Florida. Through its First Properties division, it owns and manages The Holiday Center, Plaza Shopping Center, Center Building, and Missabe Office Building, all located in Duluth, Minnesota.

The firm was founded by Duluth Entrepreneur Joel Labovitz in 1981. The principals are Joel Labovitz, Mark Labovitz, Bruce Stender, and Mark Emmel.
