Hilton Garden Inn Palm Coast/Town Center named best Hilton Garden Inn in the world

Our Hilton Garden Inn Palm Coast/Town Center was recently named the #1 Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) in the world. The property received the highest rankings by guests from among HGI’s 524 properties worldwide for customer service, accommodations, value and other aspects of the overall hotel experience. Since opening in 2008, the Hilton Garden Inn Palm Coast/Town Center has always ranked in the Top 10 of HGI’s properties.

Customer service to our country

The White House, Air Force One, Marine One and the White House Communications Agency have recognized Lion Hotel Group hotels for excellent service during several official events at our properties.

Hilton Garden Inn Palm Coast Town Center earns several ‘green’ awards

For its commitment to practicing green initiatives, this property was recently was recertified as part of the State of Florida’s “Green Lodging Program” – an honor the State gives to only a select few Florida properties. The hotel also received the City of Palm Coast’s “Go Green Award” and a “Sustainability Merit Award” from the Florida Planning and Zoning Association.

Duluth general manager named chair of General Managers’ Advisory Board

Lisa Augustine, general manager of our Holiday Inn & Suites in Duluth, Minnesota, was recently elected chair of the General Managers’ Advisory Board for Holiday Inn North America and Mexico. Lisa leads a board that develops and tests critical brand initiatives for more than 800 Holiday Inn properties.

Bozeman hotel receives InterContinental Hotels Group awards

The Holiday Inn Bozeman, southwest Montana’s largest hotel and convention center, has recently received several awards from InterContinental Hotels Group, including a Top Overall Satisfaction Score, a Renovation Award and a Turning Point Award.

Dayton Beavercreek Area Manager is very involved

Carroll Hamann, who manages both our Courtyard and Residence Inn properties, is a member of Marriott’s Business Council for the Greater Dayton and Cincinnati area. Her commitment also extends into the community as a member of the Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Trustees for Greene County and the Dayton Children’s Corporate Council.

Bozeman GM chairs tourism group

Tim Kuhlman, general manager of the Holiday Inn Bozeman, is the current chair of the Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District.

Various staff members receive high customer-service awards

Several of our staff members in our hotels have recently received recognition for their dedication, including:

  • Hilton Garden Inn Town Center’s Dina Araujo received a Hilton Worldwide Spirit of the Garden Award for being a true hospitality leader who shows extraordinary service and commitment to the guest and her teammates.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Town Center’s Linda Johnsen received a Flagler County Tourism Development Council H.E.R.O.E.S. (Hospitality Employee Recognition of Excellent Service) Award.
  • Cheryl Dunbar, Holiday Inn & Suites Duluth’s HR Director, was named Human Resources Director of the Year from among all HR Directors Holiday Inn-wide.
  • Shawn McLaughlin, Holiday Inn & Suites Duluth’s Director of Sales, was named Director of Sales of the Year – the only person among all Sales Directors Holiday Inn-wide to receive such an award.

Residence Inn Dayton Beavercreek takes the Gold and other awards

Marriott International recently recognized our Residence Inn Dayton Beavercreek with a Gold Hotel Award, as well as a Most Improved Evening Social Experience Award and special recognition for the hotel’s outstanding ESSOCC numbers.

Our food gets attention, too

The Hilton Garden Inn Town Center recently won the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Taste of Flagler “Best Entrée” Award.
